27th IECA Annual Canadian Conference

You do not want to miss this year’s event! The 27th IECA Annual Canadian Conference is being held in the quaint resort town of Banff, Alberta, in the stunning Canadian Rockies. The event will provide you with an opportunity to gather with energy credit professionals in an idyllic setting and expand your knowledge of some highly relevant and timely topics. The Canadian Regional Education Committee of the IECA has assembled a diverse set of speakers, with sessions on Digital Communications in the Energy Industry, Smart Contracts (Blockchain), and Egress Issues with Canada’s Energy Industry, among others. In addition, this year’s keynote speakers are sure to educate, entertain and even inspire. Dan North, Chief Economist with Euler Hermes, is a highly sought after speaker at IECA events in the US and will provide a North American economic update at his first ever IECA Canadian Conference. We are also very pleased to welcome Chris Slubicki, President, CEO, and Director of Modern Resources Inc., for his thought-provoking discussion on the uncomfortable reality of energy and the environment in Canada and globally.

Along with the numerous conference sessions, there will be ample opportunities to network with fellow attendees and conference sponsors. In support of our recently created International Energy Credit Association Bursary at the University of Calgary, attendees will have the chance to bid on a variety of exciting items in a silent auction with all the proceeds going towards this initiative.
