It is time to register for the 29^th IECA Annual Canadian Conference – in person, and in beautiful Banff, Alberta! Join your fellow credit and energy industry professionals for this year’s conference, with informative sessions around the relevant theme of ESG and Energy Diversification: Risk or Opportunity? The Canadian Regional Education Committee has been hard at work, lining up some amazing keynote speakers, including Karl Schamotta, Chief Strategist with Corpay and frequent contributor on BNN, and Dr. Yrjo Koskinen, the Associate Dean of Research and Business Impact and the BMO Professor of Sustainable and Transition Finance at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary. There will be a panel of banks discussing their perspectives on ESG in the Oil and Gas industry and an important session on the constantly evolving topic of ESG reporting. Furthermore, to address recent events, there will be a session on Supply Chain Risk and one on the importance of the KYC process in identifying sanctions and embargoes.

On top of the packed agenda, there will be opportunities to network, including golf at the Banff Springs course or a bus trip to see the stunning alpine Lake Moraine and Lake Louise. Finally, our popular Banquet dinner on Tuesday evening will be followed by something a little different: a chance to put on your dancing shoes and join us in Diva's bar at the Rimrock to enjoy Western Canada's premier Celtic and maritime live rock band, Fraid Knot.
