Description

Speaker: Christie Degard, Director and Senior Trading Counsel, Trading Counsel Solutions

This session will include a basic overview of the Renewable and Clean Energy Standards across the United States and participants will leave with a “cheat sheet” of resources on the major programs. We will then move onto a few program updates, followed by focusing more narrowly on recent bankruptcies affecting the various regulators’ efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The issues addressed in these cases raise credit, regulatory, legal, and public interest questions and participants will understand how to approach these questions as an organization.
