Heather Lottering

Heather Lottering is an energy credit risk professional with over 17 years of industry experience.  In her current role at Direct Energy, as Senior Credit Risk Manager (with a contract focus), she serves as her team’s liaison for credit document-related opinions. Throughout her career she has had the benefit of working for a diverse array of organizations, gathering a wealth of knowledge and understanding that has positioned her well in this role. Heather received her BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University with a certification in International Business. She was an early adopter to the “gap year” concept and spent time exploring after university traveling to various places while living in London. Shortly after her return to the US, she started her career within energy industry eventually landing in Credit Risk Management in 2002. Outside of work, Heather continues to share her love of travel with her husband and toddler son. She also serves as a Board Member to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention SE Chapter, an organization that is close to her heart.
