Description

Chirichella reviews the main crude oil plays in the U.S., including Eagle Ford, Permian, Bakken and Marcellus, and discusses the current offshore status. He will compare the past when oil production and proved reserves were in decline for years to the present and what the future may have in store for U.S. energy independence. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts elimination of net imports of liquid fuels into the U.S. by 2035. Chirichella discusses the possibilities of the U.S. returning to its status of being the world’s largest crude oil exporter.
