Description

The IECA launched its Master Netting Agreement Working Group to develop a straightforward master netting agreement that is easy to negotiate, flexible enough to cover a variety of physically and financially-settled transactions, and effective under both English and New York law. This effort arose as a reaction to the relative complexity of existing master netting agreement forms, and in some regions, the lack of a commonly used form. Come join our Working Group members for the roll-out of the IECA Master Netting Agreement (MNA) as they examine various sections of the MNA and discuss issues and concepts that commonly arise in master netting agreement negotiations.

Volunteer Opportunity Spotlight

Social Media Task Force
This role is primarily focused on helping promote and grow our IECA social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and strategize new marketing for the IECA via social media. 

Why the IECA?

I would highly recommend the IECA for not only credit professionals but also legal and contract admin personnel. The connections are valuable. Additionally, the webinars and conferences provide industry-specific focused opportunities to stayed abreast of changes impacting our roles. In addition to joining the IECA, I strongly encourage all to become active in the committees. I have definitely gained significant knowledge regarding generally accepted industry standards by working with other members of the IECA.
