The IECA has been a key element to the success I have had in my career. Also, the IECA has helped build my leadership skills through my involvement on the board of directors and executive committee. I most enjoy the social capital I've gained through the many opportunities the IECA offers to network at conferences and events. It is much easier to negotiate when you personally know the person on the other side of the table.
