Oil and Natural Gas prices have been in transition over the last year or so. Based on where price has been trading and how the fundamentals have been evolving there could be exposure to both producers and end users. Chirichella lays out that exposure and what the optimum hedging strategies are for each of the sectors. Using specific examples, he discusses how to manage the potential risk while still taking advantage of market moves that benefit the hedger while still protecting against the potential risk.
