Description

This session will provide an introduction to environmental markets including their rationale, different regulatory frameworks and the products that trade as a result. Building on this will be a discussion of the various renewable and carbon markets in North America including trends and outlooks. The focus of the session will then shift to evaluating the markets through the lens of a risk professional. Consideration will be given to both general and specific risks associated with environmental commodities from a credit and trading risk perspective.
