This workshop will be led by Andie Kramer and Al Harris, the authors of the new book Breaking Through Bias: Communication Techniques for Women to Succeed at Work. Publishers Weekly calls their book “a well-organized, well-thought-out call to action.” Andie and Al offer simple, unique, and highly effective techniques for dealing with the unconscious biases pervade even the best intentioned organizations. They will address tricky, real world scenarios that illustrate the pervasive and harmful effect of unconscious gender stereotypes. Andie and Al have had great success with diverse groups in many industries in conveying the value of gender diverse workplaces and providing the information and methods needed to make them a reality.
