Cybersecurity Overview and Considerations for Credit Organizations

Safety of proprietary information is critical to a business’ success. This session will explore the topic of cybersecurity and the potential impact on day-to-day activities of a credit department within an energy company. Credit is responsible for a number of tasks related to energy transactions, and credit groups have access to and maintain sensitive information both within their organization and on the counterparties they work with daily. The ability to securely store and maintain sensitive information requires a strong understanding of the threats that can impact an organization.
