In June 2013 Michael Etkin and Aubrey Kauffman gave a presentation entitled “Chapter 11 101: US Restructurings Buffet Style with a Canadian Garnish”. This year Mickey and Aubrey will drill down on selected cross border insolvency topics of interest to IECA members including rejection/disclaimer and forced assignments of long term supply contracts, lessons from Lehman and possible reform of Canadian derivatives safe harbour provisions.
