This session is more than a Nuts & Bolts discussion and will consider more advanced topics in providing and accepting guaranties, including types of guaranties, obligations covered, limited guaranties, waiver of defenses, choice of law distinctions, drafting pitfalls and the impacts of changes to the underlying obligations.

Learning Objectives: Attendees will gain a better understanding of the distinctions between types of guaranties, primary and other obligations, and the application of suretyship principles and defenses to enforcement with respect to guaranties.
