The Canadian Regional Education Committee of the IECA is excited to welcome Charles St-Arnaud, Chief Economist with Alberta Central, as he presents "Global Economic Disruption: Will Energy Continue to Fuel the Fire in 2023?" In his presentation, Charles walks us through the huge impact that energy had on global economics in 2022, as well as what is shaping up for 2023 and beyond (hint: it’s probably not what you think, as Alberta’s energy sector is very different now than it’s ever been!) Charles is an excellent speaker, as well as a knowledgeable and experienced economist (you have probably seen him on BNN) and we know you will both enjoy and learn something at this seminar.
The event will open at 2:30 p.m., with Charles’ presentation beginning at 3:00 p.m. After his presentation, stay and network with your friends and colleagues while you enjoy some of the delicious drinks and appetizers we have come to expect at Saltlik.
The IECA is very appreciative that Charles was able to take time away from his busy schedule to provide our members and guests with this timely update - which will be informative to members as both credit professionals and consumers.
