Sami is the Credit Risk Manager at Keyera Corp., having joined the organization in 2020 after residing at Suncor for 12 years as the Manager of Credit Risk. She has almost 20 years of experience in Credit Risk, IT and Contracts. Sami has been a part of the IECA for ~17 years, having served as the Canadian Regional Education Committee Chair in 2014 and the Board of Directors from 2014-2017. Outside of work, Sami spends her time with her husband RJ, two children, Ryder and Toryn and three dogs.

Why the IECA?

The one thing Louise echoes to IECA members is you have to make time to invest in YOURSELF. There are many challenges in life and the "right time" may seem as though it never comes. The reality is there is rarely a "right time"; there will likely always be something in your way. Taking initiative and having confidence you can handle what comes is instrumental in personal and professional success! The IECA has many ways to help support your development through online resources, volunteering, networking and mentoring. The time is now to invest in the greatest asset you have, YOURSELF!
