Margarita is a Director of Commodity Structured Debt North America at BNP Paribas. Her focus is the structuring of bank debt solutions for energy marketing companies and hybrid energy marketing/midstream companies. BNP Paribas, one of the largest financial institutions in the world, is a leader in the Commodity Finance space. Margarita has structured numerous syndicated and bilateral (transactional) credit facilities. Enabled successful syndications, overseen ongoing maintenance of the facilities and followed through the execution of individual transactions through the whole supply chain (purchase, storage, transport and sale). Margarita has a broad expertise in Trade Finance products, including Documentary presentation and Letters of Credit.
Margarita has 15 years of experience in the commodity industry, 3 of which as a trader of Soybean Oil at Nidera and 12 years of banking. Prior to BNPP Margarita was a Director in the Energy Commodities team at ABN AMRO and was also covering agriculture sector in the past.
Margarita has a Master of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands
