Dear IECA Members,

As you may already know, tropical storm Milton is now forecasted to make landfall on the Gulf coast of Florida including Marco Island, as a Category 2 Hurricane.

Currently, landfall is forecasted to occur at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning (October 9).

Regrettably, the IECA’s 100th Annual Conference has been Cancelled.

The hotel has advised that they will waive the Cancellation fee for your reservation, so please contact the hotel to do so. We will follow up with another email regarding registration fees.

We sincerely apologize to all attendees for this unforeseen situation. This was a difficult decision, but we consider the safety of our attendees as the highest priority. This decision will prevent unsafe travel and mitigate the significantly more negative impact that may be incurred if we decided to go forward with the conference in the current situation.

We will seek to reschedule at a later date.
