Are there Best Practices for monitoring and tracking contracts and contract data in the energy field, and are there laws that could assist you in establishing policies to facilitate Best Practices for your company? A panel of credit, legal, and contract professionals will discuss scenarios where a lack of adequate contract and data management processes and tools can have a negative ramification on your ability to react to changes in the industry or changes in your company, including mergers, acquisitions and credit events. The panel will also discuss tips and experiences that will help you respond in a more timely and informed way. During this discussion, the panel will explore if integrated systems across the front and mid-office work best? Are there certain aspects of digital management that are or were particularly difficult to overcome? The session should give participants an understanding of various options for managing contracts and credit in a shared database or other digital forums. Questions and audience participation are encouraged.
