Learning Objectives: To provide a firsthand account of the benefits and learnings obtained from putting forth the business case to system implementation.
Description: In 2017, Emera, Inc. developed, procured, and implemented a credit scoring model for public and private counterparties. This session will focus on how the need for a model was identified, how the project was sold to our executive, and how vendors were screened and implemented. The session will finish with a post-implementation assessment aimed to give IECA members honest and insightful feedback of the benefits realized from, and unexpected impediments during, the project.
