Approved Provider of Continuing Education

IECA is an approved provider of continuing education for several entities and professional certifications. Typically, IECA offers CPE, CFA and CLE credits. Continuing education credit is offered at the Spring Conferene and Annual Conference located in the US as well as seminars held throughout the year. IECA is registered with the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) as a Provider of Continuing Professional Education (CPE)credits. GARP is a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to preparing professionals to make better-informed risk decisions. GARP’s membership represents more than 150,000 risk management practitioners and researchers at academic institutions, banks, corporations, government agencies, and investment management firms in 195 countries. The IECA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.


IECA receives approval from the CFA Institute to provide continuing education credits for the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation. Please refer to individual events for more information on credit hours and other details. 


 

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

The IECA normally applies for Continuing Legal Education credit with the states of Kansas (reciprocity for New York and California), Texas and Pennsylvania. Please refer to individual events for more information on credit hours and other details.
